Besides this, every time you win, a multiplier keeps stacking up, for a maximum of 5x, which may not seem like much, yes, but it really adds up over the long term. Let’s explore Gonzo’s Quest gameplay a step further and see what makes it so fun.

The gameplay also stands out by one other feature – the grid features symbols that resemble slabs that were cut out to build Aztec temples with, and these slabs drop into place rather than the wheels spinning.

There is a characteristic thud! that goes with each drop of the slab, and even a bit of dust rising, as the avatar of Gonzo sits next to the reels in his panoply and characteristic conquistador outfit.
