WWE Enters US Online Casino Scene with Fanatics Gaming Deal

World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) is stepping into the world of online casinos with a licensing deal with Fanatics Betting and Gaming to roll out branded real-money casino games in the U.S. market.

Five Exclusive Games to Launch Before SummerSlam

Five new WWE casino titles are planned to go live ahead of SummerSlam, scheduled for August at MetLife Stadium. These titles, ranging from online slot games to blackjack, will be available in Michigan, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and West Virginia via iOS, Android, and web.

The initial lineup includes:

  • WWE Blackjack
  • Raw Multiplier Melee
  • SmackDown Big Money Entrance!
  • WWE Bonus Rumble Gold Blitz
  • WWE Clash of the Wilds

These games are being developed by Fanatics Game Studios, in partnership with Boom Entertainment and Games Global, both of which are established in the online casino content development industry.

Branded Casino Experience and Promotions

To mark the launch, Fanatics Casino will introduce a comprehensive WWE-branded experience on its app. This includes a visual redesign, exclusive sign-up offers, and a WWE edition of the Spin to Win game. The SummerSlam tie-in reflects a broader effort to attract wrestling fans through themed content without crossing into real-money betting on match outcomes.

Expanding the WWE-Fanatics Relationship

This move builds on WWE’s existing collaborations with Fanatics in areas like merchandise, memorabilia, and e-commerce. While WWE has previously explored gaming via Las Vegas slot machines and fantasy contests, this marks its first step into regulated real-money online casino gaming in the US.

Fanatics Casino’s Broader Offering

Beyond its WWE deal, Fanatics Casino hosts a full suite of games, including classic slots, progressive jackpots, blackjack, and live dealer options. The platform sources content from major developers, including IGT PlayDigital, Evolution, White Hat Studios, Wazdan, and Light & Wonder.

Fanatics Casino also features FanCash, a rewards system that converts loyalty points into bonus bets, casino credits, or merchandise. Tools for responsible gambling, including time and deposit limits, are also built into the app. Fanatics has partnered with Birches Health to support users seeking help with gambling behavior.

WWE Bets on Brand Engagement, Not Match Wagering

Importantly, this initiative doesn’t involve betting on WWE match results. Instead, it leans on branded casino content to extend fan engagement into the iGaming sector—an approach that avoids regulatory issues around scripted sports entertainment.

As online gambling continues to expand across US states, WWE’s entry via Fanatics signals a new wave of entertainment-sports crossover content built around familiar brands. And with SummerSlam just around the corner, timing couldn’t be better.
