Casino Surrender becomes Automatic Win
One day, a few years ago, Frank Mugnolo invented a new blackjack bet. Mugnolo is president and CEO of Casino Gaming LLC, based in Chicago. He called this new bet Casino Surrender and he started to travel around presenting his new invention. Some of the casinos were interested and started to use the bet successfully. But still the bet didn't get the attention Frank Mugnolo would want to. Recently Mugnolo decided to change the name of his invention, hoping that it may change something and that’s how Casino Surrender became Automatic Win.

But how does this bet work? A player places a bet, for example €20, in hand he has two 10 cards or an Ace and 9, and the dealer has a 10 faced up, the player wins automatically his original €20 and the additional €10 and the round is over.
Mugnolo is convinced that the reason why the bet wasn’t that successful before is the name. Players got confused by hearing surrender. Automatic Win is much more convincing and it seems that it has finally a lot of success.
During the years a lot of casinos accepted the Automatic Win and it has also been offered by many card rooms around the USA. And some casinos added Mugnolos bet to all of their blackjack tables. Finally Mugnolo achieved his aim and he is convinced that this is just the beginning and that soon every casino will accept his invention.

But why should they? Why is this bet so convenient for the casinos? So taking the same example from before: the player is holding a 20 and the dealer has a 10 faced up, the player wins 55 to 58 percent of time. Therefore the more players use this option, the more the casino saves over time, because the casino pays just the half of the bet in winnings. How do you recognize a blackjack table offering the Automatic Win? There should be gold-coloured placard with the Automatic Win sign on it on every blackjack table that offers this kind of bet.
